For over 25 years Austin Security has been offering commercial, industrial, retail, and residential security solutions to the Edmonton market from our local head office. We also provide our services across Canada, the US, as well as to international locations. That’s over two decades of offering ULC listed monitored security alarm systems, IP megapixel camera systems, access control, outdoor industrial yard security, and intercoms; all with live remote access from your PC, cell phone or mobile device. We also provide ULC-561 fire monitoring.

Austin Security began in 1997 as a one man operation when after ten years in the industry, company President Pat McNamara took off on his own. Operating out of his basement, Pat grew his business by knocking on doors in the Edmonton area, until he was able to lease an office space and hire employees to his team.

Over the years, Pats wife Annette provided support by assisting with the bookkeeping and together, began raising their three children; twins, Mitch and Liam and Daughter, Alyssa. While spending days and nights at the ice rink and the swimming pool, the McNamara’s continued to grow Austin Security throughout the city of Edmonton and area.

Austin Security has grown exponentially over the last two and a half decades, with a client list expanding across Canada, the US and even overseas. The success of the company’s growth, is attributed to their committed, dedicated, and caring employees. The open office environment is a collaborative space including; the president, reception, sales, service, parts, administration, installation and IT help desk, allowing everyone to be part of a quick solution for the client.
