Sole to Soul Footwear began as part of the former Colonel Belcher Hospital’s Geriatric Foot and Wound Clinic. Our owner Abdullah Chybil developed the concept of our shoe store while working there after observing the needs of pedorthic patients (and their physicians) who require specialty footwear and solutions to support their pain and mobility issues.

Dedicated to Assisting Health Practitioners

Sole to Soul is dedicated to assisting health practitioners with their patients’ lower extremity disorders. As a team, we provide education and healthy footwear choices to optimize our clients’ self-expression and overall well-being. We strive to continue updating our training to include pedorthic footwear fitting knowledge and techniques from the various orthothopedic footwear associations’ libraries, and our own experience, in order to help you make the right footwear choices. We specialize in Modern Shoe Therapy and the “difficult-to-fit” patients.

Assisting physicians in the successful treatment of their patients’ lower extremities is a comfort shoe specialist’s first priority. We combine Modern Shoe Therapy with more than 20 years of combined experience in designing, constructing and fitting shoes and related foot care products. In 1998, Sole to Soul expanded and relocated to our flagship location in the North Hill Centre in Calgary. We relocated in the same centre in 2000 and again in 2006 to a 2,200-square-foot location. Since then, we’ve opened four other locations in Southcentre Mall, West Hills Shopping Centre, Deerfoot Meadows and on Kensington Road.
